Obama, the Tard

Ironic how it’s 24K layer which means, of course, the inside is a non-precious metal. Figures. They’re going for $9.95 with some of the proceeds going to care for the family-elect ***** (dog, I mean). Oh, and they will be “retired forever” in Jan 09.

Why waste money on that? No coin with Obama’s face on it is worth anything.

I have seen the emails, but I did not read all the agreements. It appears to have been an “official” effort but in fact it seems to be some of the usual suspects out to make a buck.

EDIT: OK I received more of the same spam, and read all of it. There is nothing there to suggest that Obama has endorsed it or that they will receive any financial consideration, but there is plenty in the privacy agreement about how you will be cookied and added to lists and your telephone number will be shared.

As I said, the usual suspects trying to make a buck. I am tempted to go into some IRC chat rooms and do a ‘Hey, rube’ on them.

I have very little use for frauds and peddlers.
